Five years in the UAE earns 3.5 months of basic salary, not five. Every year after that adds a full month, until the two-year cap stops it at 25.5 years. Because it is calculated on basic only, someone whose basic is half their package gets the equivalent of 1.75 months of total pay for five years.
The calculator counts your real days of service.

Finding: only after year five, and only of basic. For the first five years each year is worth 0.7 of a month's basic. Measured against total pay, the gap is wider: if basic is 50% of your package, each early year is worth 0.35 of a month's total salary.

No. It is 21 days of basic salary per year for the first five years (0.7 of a month) and 30 days, a full month of basic, per year after that. It is based on basic salary only, not the total package.
The total cannot exceed two years' basic wage (24 months). Under the 21/30-day formula that limit is reached at 25.5 years of service, whatever the salary.
